The Homestead

First floor measured drawing by Huck

It was a Thursday evening in February when Banjo Boy and Huck put in a lowball offer on a foreclosure going to auction the very next morning.  With so little time before the auction, the offer was a total shot in the dark,  but luck was on their side…. and Huck and Banjo Boy bought a house.

They were looking for a “fixer upper” …  and boy howdy did they find one.

Huck and Banjo Boy have had their work cut out for them, jacking up ceilings, retracing electrical wiring, cutting out cast iron plumbing, jack hammering out patios, and so so so much more.

Our intrepid young home renovators have put their skill and creativity to the test, but they have wonderful support from friends and parents (who have also tackled a fair share of their own DIY remodelings).
